What is it to be Patriotic? Looking up some dictionary's definitions may make you think you have moved to another country other than the United States of America. Mine and other dictionary’s state: 1. showing love for your country and being proud of it: this came from the Cambridge Dictionary. Others were not so kindly to being a Patriot and their choosing of synonyms proved it. Americana is the collection of things that are distinctly American, our things we make or share of customs. Songs and dances, folk music, soul music, Rock and Roll. Baseball and Apple Pie and Hot Dogs. The sharing of love for the Stars and Stripes of our Flag fit both categories.
