The German Shepherd was designed in Germany to be a herder for sheep. After the First and Second World Wars German Shepherds were not needed for this activity. They needed a new identity. So, their most avid breeder and authority of German Shepherds Captain Max von Stephanitz turned them to K-9 type abilities. Thus, making them useful in more ways. 

FBF German Shepherd Head Sock starts on a Black background. Under the Cuff reads, "German Shepherd" in Bold Brown print. Then begins the German Shepherd's Head. The Head is made up of different Brown Colors, Fawn, Chocolate and Russet to blend his fur. Black is for outlining his Nose, Mouth and Ears. His Ears and Mouth are a mixture of Almond and White.. This is a Medium Size Sock and is a Thin Style.
